Welcome to the fourth edition of the AI Governance Forum! The AI Governance Forum is organized by AI Transparency Institute, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to AI Governance and human trust in AI.
This year the discussions will be focused on the upcoming EU AI Act and its broader implications for research, policy, and industry, particularly within the healthcare sector.
We will adopt a comparative approach to bring forth and consolidate the perspectives from across the globe. The webinar will be focused on the challenges and benefits of the EU AI Act Proposal for EU and non-EU institutions and stakeholders. The discourses will scrutinize the impact and vision of general purpose AI across a broad range of topics, including but not limited to, extraterritorial effects, high-risk systems in healthcare, impact of EU AI Act on value chain, bias in machine learning, correlation vs. causality, responsible and ethical AI, and, role of standardization.
